Pina Coladas

It is very warm sitting late afternoon on this sun lounger on a Mexican beach. Our rolled up trousers are slightly damp and salted after an enthusiastic wade in the sea. The glass in my hand is cool with the condensation of melting ice and the Pina Colada sweet and milky.

Travelling with my condition can be complex, not least travelling with so many tablets and needles. Being completely dependent on hydrocortisone D has been taught (and practiced on a abused and sorrowful kiwi fruit) to inject me in an emergency, but the customs officers have been kind and with D taking charge while I mostly slept or followed, we are now here.

I am absolutely knackered but it is so worth it sitting here looking out on this view. I think we might have found bliss!
